Diana Namuli

She now coaches Dreams FC, a football club of young people in the Buikwe district that plays in the U-17 regional league. Her initiatives have been successful in mobilising young people to participate in community projects.

It has been a wonderful platform that opened more opportunities for me to add value to my community especially engaging young people in active activities such as football and reproductive health programmes. In a rural community like where I coach, many girls drop out of school and most times they get married off at an early age. With football, we have managed to bring together young girls and empower them.
