Premier Skills is a site for learners to practise their English. Our videos, articles and activities are all about football but you don’t have to be a football fan to use the site. We hope that there is something here for everyone!

How to use the site

Start at the Fun section. Test your football vocabulary knowledge and see if you would make a good referee.

In the other parts of the site you’ll find lots of stories and videos to help you learn. Look out for this icon:

The icon tells you that there is something for you to do to help you understand the story or the video. Choose the activity you want to do and click on it.

The activity will open in a new window, like this: 

When you’ve answered the questions, close the window to return to Premier Skills.

Online Dictionary

If you see a word you don't understand, just double-left-click on it to open the online dictionary and find it's definition. For more details please see our dictionary help page.

Printing

If you would like to print the page but not the whole screen, please click on the printer-friendly version link at the bottom of the page.
